Sava Sara Brakada, AKA Xsara was born on 06-27-2004. She was raised in Kennel Brakada spending the first two months of her life on beautiful countryside Gorenjska (Slovenia) with her siblings and parents. As soon as she came to Ljubljana we started a puppy class, followed by an obedience class. She passed her B-bh exam with 96 points (instructor Agility EO winner Polona Bonač). We now continue with Rally-Obedience under Polona's supervision. Our biggest passion however is Agility. We started our first Agility class in October 2005 (club Agility Ilirija, instructor Silvia Trkman, two times agility world champion). When Silvia stopped teaching agility classes, we switched to Daša Zakotnik. We regularly participate in Agility trials in Slovenia and sometimes abroad. Xsara also loves to learn new dog tricks, you can see some of them in our videos. Her other passions include long walks, big meals and playing with dogs, specially her pyr shep sister Tani, her crazy agility pals and her sister Sena.

I'm Dreaming Of A White ... Easter?

The trip to Miramare planned for today was postponed due to ... snow. The weather had been weird for some time now. During the first ten minutes of training on Thursday we had heavy rain, some snow, and sunshine which lasted until the end of the training session. And when we woke up this morning, I was surprised to see it was snowing again (I don't believe in weather forecasts so it's possible other people knew that it was coming).

So it looks like we've got a white Easter this year. I don't think it's going to last for more than a couple of days because it's quite warm outside, so we will enjoy it while it lasts.

We wish you all very happy holidays with your loved ones!

Hi Xsara,

I'm glad we're not the only ones with Easter snow! You have the right idea curling up in your blanket.

Oh my golly even though it took furever to open your bloggie we are so excited. We always get locked out or stuck so mommy checks in when she goes to the library cos our comptee doesn't like to open bloggies. Hopefully with our new service in a couple of weeks we can visit more often.

We're not a vet but it took Ginger's nail that fell off, over a month before it began to heal enough to stop bleeding when she ran since she loves to run hard even with the use of Gentocin (gentamicin sulfate, USP w/betamethasone valerate) the vet said would help harden it again.

Hope you had a blessed & happy Easter! wow we've never had a snow Easter actually we've never seen snow but hopefully one day cos mommy say is snows once every 10-years & you know we'll take pictures

It was great to see your bloggie
Love Licks & waggin TX tails

pee ess: we saw a doggie at the new doggie park we visited recently that resembled you and we found out her name was Mona and we told her all about your bloggie and how to find it. She don't do agility but she was as purdy as you ok gotta go xo

Hi,
It didn't take Jazz long to accept Dixie. The first few days she didn't like her at all but slowly over the next few weeks she sarted to put up with Dixie. Now they are inseparable and great company for each other. I would say when the time is right for you some time in the future a second beagle would be a good companion for Xsara.
