My princesses

My photo
Sava Sara Brakada, AKA Xsara was born on 06-27-2004. She was raised in Kennel Brakada spending the first two months of her life on beautiful countryside Gorenjska (Slovenia) with her siblings and parents. As soon as she came to Ljubljana we started a puppy class, followed by an obedience class. She passed her B-bh exam with 96 points (instructor Agility EO winner Polona Bonač). We now continue with Rally-Obedience under Polona's supervision. Our biggest passion however is Agility. We started our first Agility class in October 2005 (club Agility Ilirija, instructor Silvia Trkman, two times agility world champion). When Silvia stopped teaching agility classes, we switched to Daša Zakotnik. We regularly participate in Agility trials in Slovenia and sometimes abroad. Xsara also loves to learn new dog tricks, you can see some of them in our videos. Her other passions include long walks, big meals and playing with dogs, specially her pyr shep sister Tani, her crazy agility pals and her sister Sena.

Indoor Trial Going Well

Yesterday Xsara proved that running indoors is not really a problem for her. She won the competition for Eukanuba Winter Cup in Gornja Radgona. She got my sandwich and a long walk for the reward and she was so tired afterwards that she just went to sleep. She also impressed the mayor who came to see the trial and was amazed by her. Smart mayor ;-)
Since I don't have any photos of Xsara from this trial, I'm adding a picture from Slovenska Bistrica where Xsara won her first trophy last year. We agreed then that she would get my lunch every time she places among the first three dogs in a trial. On this photo she is recieving my sandwich.

New Year

Xsara spent the New Year on the beach. We were walking by the sea for the entire day. Although she loves snow, she also enjoys sunshine if it doesn't get too hot. And she is specially crazy about long walks that last for the entire day.

These days I am particularly proud of Xsara. She learned to jump in my arms while I'm standing up. When we started to train some experts told me it was probably impossible to teach this trick to a beagle. They were wrong!
