My princesses
- Xsara and Tani
- Sava Sara Brakada, AKA Xsara was born on 06-27-2004. She was raised in Kennel Brakada spending the first two months of her life on beautiful countryside Gorenjska (Slovenia) with her siblings and parents. As soon as she came to Ljubljana we started a puppy class, followed by an obedience class. She passed her B-bh exam with 96 points (instructor Agility EO winner Polona Bonač). We now continue with Rally-Obedience under Polona's supervision. Our biggest passion however is Agility. We started our first Agility class in October 2005 (club Agility Ilirija, instructor Silvia Trkman, two times agility world champion). When Silvia stopped teaching agility classes, we switched to Daša Zakotnik. We regularly participate in Agility trials in Slovenia and sometimes abroad. Xsara also loves to learn new dog tricks, you can see some of them in our videos. Her other passions include long walks, big meals and playing with dogs, specially her pyr shep sister Tani, her crazy agility pals and her sister Sena.

Obedience Exam
Xsara and Sena passed their B-bh exam yesterday. They were both very good - Sena gained 94 points, and Xsara 96 (I mixed up two exercises and gave her the wrong cue, otherwise we would get all 100 points). But the day ended very unexpectedly. A very weird cat jumped in our room, he was very scared and he smelled horribly. I've never smelled anything like this. I knew something was very wrong with him right away. We managed to get him in a crate and we took him to the animal shelter. They told us he was very sick on his intestinals. Poor cat! I felt very sorry for him but they said they would take care of him so I left him there. Then I went to the farmacy, bought various desinfection product worth 20 euros and spent the next 2 hours cleaning the room.

A Trial in Ljutomer
We spent a beautiful day in Ljutomer yesterday. The trial went on so fast, even though it was also team competition again. We came back to Ljubljana before the dark. Xsara had two clean runs and 3rd place, meaning she accomplished the last requirement for A3/J3, but we're not going there yet. We have to work on improving our times. Last year it was a lot worse if it was too hot, specially when she was in heat. But I know she is capable of running a lot faster. She always runs behind me and I have to teach her to go ahead. I also think she's been making bigger turns lately. But I'm very happy that she's running and enjoying trials, that's what really counts for me!
